Since then M&M has evolved to include producing site specific and more experimental works designed to challenge audiences.

Clucking, chanting, and a lot of caffeine! Meet a family who are trying to figure out what it's all about, in very different ways. If they're lucky they may actually be able to live together, or better yet, with themselves. Who says home is where the heart is?

Dad’s in the attic, drinking a coffee. Mom’s chain smoking in the kitchen. Daniel’s in the basement, trying to sit still. It’s all a means to an end, but in the end, what does it all mean? Meet a family who are trying to figure out what it's all about, in very different ways. If they're lucky they may actually be able to live together, or better yet, with themselves. Fresh from a near sold-out run at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, Mischief and Mayhem Theatre brings you a one-man show that will touch, tickle, and inspire you. “Five out of five!” (Global Television). “Trevor Schmidt is a bundle of charisma and energy… utterly convincing” (Edmonton Journal). “A captivating and affecting one-man play” (Vue Weekly). “It is impossible to encompass the subtlety and real emotional wallop here” (Edmonton Sun).

Coffee Dad, Chicken Mom and the Fabulous Buddha Boi has had a rather illustrious production history. The Fabulous Buddha Boi premiered at the 2006 Loud and Queer Cabaret in Edmonton. Loud and Queer is a weekend long festival of staged readings showcasing the best Queer playwriting in Edmonton and Western Canada and is a co-production between Workshop West Theatre and Guys in Disguise.  Chicken Mom was produced at the same festival in 2007. Coffee Dad was added for the full-length premier at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. The full-length production was produced by Guys In Disguise’s sister company Guys Un-disguised. While Guys in Disguise focused on drag performances Guys Un-disguised focuses on up-and-coming Queer writers and provides the production support needed.

M&M has also been instrumental in producing Nick Green’s work and has premiered two of Green’s fantastic one-act plays. The first was GayFace, which premiered at the NeXtfest Next Generation Arts Festival and was remounted at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival in 2006. Both were tremendously successful and garnered fantastic reviews and word-of-mouth.
